Berlin Schoenefeld

Situated right on the south-eastern outskirts of Berlin, Schönefeld airport is one of the fastest growing airports in Germany. In 2009, Schoenefeld welcomed 6.78 million passengers. Up 2.4 per cent on 2008, Schoenefeld is thus one of the few airports to acquire new passengers during the financial crisis.
Attractive fares and destinations throughout Europe make Schoenefeld an interesting proposition for tourists and business travellers alike. By 2012 Schönefeld will be the most important passenger and air freight airport in Berlin and Brandenburg.

Berlin Tegel

Tegel Airport is Berlin’s busiest airport and the economic backbone of Berlin Airports. Thanks to its central location and the attractive destinations offered in its flight schedule, both tourists and business travellers use the airport. 14.18 million passengers departed from Tegel in 2009. The long-haul flights to New York, Doha, Bangkok, Phuket and Beijing have had a particularly positive impact on Tegel.
